HYDE PARK, N.Y. — Hyde Park resident Francis J. "Frank" DiDomizio died Tuesday, May 31. He was 77.
DiDomizio served in the U.S. Navy for several years as a petty officer 2nd class aboard the U.S.S. Mitscher.
He pursued a career at IBM for more than two decades and retired as a program analyst.
DiDomizio is survived by his wife, Alice Harrand; his son, John A. DiDomizio; his daughter, Deborah J. Simmons and her husband, Robert; and his grandson, Brandon Simmons. He also is survived by his sister, Patricia Rhea; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
DiDomizio was predeceased by his parents, Patrick J. DiDomizio and Elizabeth Toth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or the American Lung Association.
